MSGM - OMFG

Soo my last post was about Solange Knowles showing up on my fashion radar, well I have now discovered a new Italian brand called MSGM which I am totally in love with. Apparently the brand was launched in 2008; I haven't really seen the previous collections but for SS12 the brand is spot on. A mixture of funky prints, neon colours and slick silhouettes...To me this brand is reminiscent of Marni but with a younger, fresher tenacity. The price points are also not too bad ranging from £100 - £500; I guess the same as  diffusion collections like MCG or Paul and Joe Sister. Below are some of my favourite pieces, but I am pretty sure that I would wear at least 85% of the range. I haven't seen the range on the high-street but apparently it is available at Matches and Harvey Nichols; online you can also check out Asos, Matches and thecorner.com.
You may see me strutting down Shoreditch high-street in the hounds tooth mini dress or neon yellow pleated skirt!!! Lx

New Style Crush - Solange Knowles

Solange Knowles (Beyounce's 25 year old sister) has just appeared on my radar!!! She is a DJ, musician and mother and has a wardrobe to die for. Much quirkier and fashiony than her older sister Solange mixes staple piece with bright bold colour and african prints! Her style is fun and chic and the final touch is always her directional and funky make up...check out her best bits below...She is also the latest sceleb to do the 'Today I'm Wearing' section on Vogue UK, check out the blog for style inspiration...

Styling it up H and M Stylee...

So going back to my previous post about clothes that I loved at H&M, they have finally added more pieces to their website. They have a function on their website that lets you try the clothes on the model and make outfits. I have to say it is very addictive and hours of fun, check out my very own creations below!!! Yay I got to indulge my inner stylist.

All oufits can be found in your local H&M, and are super on trend! I can't wait to buy the shirt and skirt combo with the green bag, and the trousers!!!

K-K-K-Karl (Lagerfield x Net-a-porter)

I am very behind on my posting, but you can not have been unaware of the Net-a-porter and Karl Lagerfield collaboration which launched last week; much like many design collaborations it sold out quickly!!! What I loved about the collection was that it was affordable and very Karl Lagerfield, it wasn't watered down like other collabs. My favourite pieces were the trade mark Lagerfield collars which at around £120 were both affordable and chic!!! The black dress with the crisp white collar and the pleated PVC (or leather) mini skirt were also tres cool!!!
Above are some of my favourite pieces from the range, I wish I had the foresight to save for these fantastic partnerships which continue to pop up!!! I am going to start saving for the Mulberry and Topshop collaboration, its got to happen, right!!!

My Love of the Mulbs...

I love Mulberry!!! I want to own one of these bags in the very near future. I used to love the Peggy bag and the Taylor but it looks like the brand have stepped away from these bags...I am upset, but there are lots of other bags to keep me distracted with. I like the new colours that the Alexa are now available in, I also like the Eddie bag for its practically. Unfortunately one of these super bag will set you back between £650 and £5,000, I had better get saving then I guess!!!Check out some of my fav below or check out the Mulberry website.

"Jeffrey"

So I think the word on the street at the mo is Jeffrey Campbell, say WHAT? Jeffrey Campbell is an American footwear brand (I assume the designer/ creative director is called Jeffrey Campbell but who knows...) who produces products based on hot catwalk trends. I became aware of the brand because my friend Fashion Somebody was obsessed with the shoes for about a year; we did a fashion trip to NYC and she dragged me in every shop to try on the Litas (top right hand corner) in different colours and sizes, she left NYC with a great navy pair. I kind've wished I brought a pair too, but luckily the shoes have hit the UK market in a big way? Above are my favourite pairs... the best place to buy them are Harvey Nicholls and Office.

I am definitely going to save up and buy a pair, they are around £130...and the best thing about the footwear is that they make you super tall (average heel height is about 6 inches), there are flats available too, L x
